Comments about Paiste Signature Full Crash:

      These cymbals are killer
I can't imagine having to hit them to hard unless ones kit wasn't tuned properly
I've had the 19&20 power for 12 years and counting
My suggestion to you crackers would be don't try to make a 16 sound like a 20 it might not crack

Comments about Paiste Signature Full Crash:

I had this cymbal for 15 years. I have a set with Zildian, Sabian, and Paiste. Paiste is by far the best cymbal made and this their best series. I read other reviews that say this cymbal cracks but mine has lasted for years and I am a pretty hard hitter. Finnish has stood the test of time too! I like a bright cymbal with medium sustain and this crash fits the roll; I have an 18 in. Too many drummers hit the edges and any cymbal will eventually crack hitting it like that. Cymbal angle is something that most drummers don't understand. Yes, you do hit the edge for accents but not always. I use Promark 707n sticks and the sound is cutting and clean. Paiste has superior Bronze chemistry which is what you are paying for here. I use a Sabian Dry ride for the ping vs. pong sound and I have several Zildian crashes. Old school Avidas, and ZBT. I like the different sounds on my kit but the Paste I have, have the best sound. I also use their 2002 series which is a sound very close to these but at a little better price. Price dictates what I use and if I could I would have these signatures for all my crashes. I am a pro that plays several times a week and tried them all. My best advise to anyone though, is never buy cymbals by mail. Great cymbals with the old school manufacturing that make these sound so good means every cymbal will sound slightly different. Zildian with their sheet cymbals and computerized lathing like the ZBTs have a more uniform sound amongst them, are cheaper, but then again...they simply are not Paiste Signatures !!!!! You DO get what you pay for !!!

Comments about Paiste Signature Full Crash:

We bought one of the 18" versions of this for our son's kit about a year ago. He plays a fair amount at home, and some with a band. I occasionally play his drums as well. These are very nice sounding cymbals, I will say that up front. The problem with them seems to be cracking. In the last year, he has had three of these crack. Fortunately, Paiste replaced the first two under their warranty, and the third is now being replaced by the equipment insurance we purchased. Now, my son does play hard, so that could certainly play a part. But he has other crash cymbals from other manufacturers on his kit, and there have been no problems with those.

So, they do sound very good. Just a bit of advice though: if you decide to try one, I would definitely spend the money on the replacement coverage.

Sounds amazing... but not for long

Comments about Paiste Signature Full Crash:

Paiste has some of the best sounding cymbals but they don't really hold up for very long. I own a 16" signature full crash and a 15" signature fast crash. Both were bent within 6 months and the fast crash cracked after about 9 months. If you play often and are a heavy drummer I would recommend Sabian.

            Great cymbal but beware

            By Jordan

            from Houston, Texas

Comments about Paiste Signature Full Crash:

I love the sound of this cymbal, it sounds great and its just great. But the problem is that I have two of the 18 inch cymbal now. Both of them cracked. They were both unfortunately out of warranty too. It may just be me but though I love these cymbals they cant take that much of a beating.

Comments about Paiste Signature Full Crash:

I have tried crashes from every manufactorer in almost every conceivable acoustic environment. These cymbals possess the best characteristics of all of the others. These cymbals are explosive, the intial attack is great, and the subsequent overtones are just beautiful. They are not cheap, but the investment is well paid for such wonderful instruments.

            Best Crash Cymbal

            By Mr.Anderson5150

Comments about Paiste Signature Full Crash:

I went to my local guitar center with my band and I went into the drum room. I saw this one set surrounded by these Paiste cymbals, so I tried it out. I loved it. Of all the cymbals I hit this one sounded the best in my opinion. This is the best cymbal by the best cymbal company.
