AWSOME!

By Brandon Panek

from New Lenox

This cymbal is great for the money. I've had it for about a year and it has not even shown signs of cracking/denting. The 18in. has a nice heavy sound perfect for Rock and Metal. I would suggest it to anyone who needs a quality crash.

Paiste PST 5 18 inch Rock Crash

By Lucas

from Sanford, ME

This is by far one of the best crash cymbals I've ever had. It sounds perfect if you dont tighten up the stand on it to much and let it be loose. It doesn't last too long and interfear with the other cymbals or whatever else your playing. Its perfect for playing music like A Day To Remember. Highly recommended!

Big Sound, small price

By Tim

from Portland, OR

As a poor person I look for the cheapest way to get cool things. I got the 19 inch, only because they offered a fat huge discount that made it almost as cheap as the 16. The sound is really big and Loud. The sustain is impressive and it's very clear . The only thing "iffy" is (the 19 inch at leat) sounds more like a crash/ride, real bellowy and gong-like. which fantastic for slow epic songs but a bit overkill for punk. but whatever it's all I'll be able to afford for awhile so I LIKE IT.

Simply put, This is an excellent Cymbal for the price! it has a bright sound and is awhole lot better then any B8 and ZBT i played. I own the 16" and dont regret it one bit!

PST5's are awesome!

By tbdrummer2

from Raleigh, NC

it's true. pst5's really do sound great for their price. i got the 19 inch crash. the sounds between it and my 16" thin crash contrast perfectly! however, not so much for my ride. since my ride is 20" and my new crash is 19", they have VERY close crash sounds. that's the only reason i rated it four stars. probably my fault haha. but definitely recomended. just have a 21 or 22" ride and you'll be fine!

19" pst 5 Crash Cymbal

By Lee

from Maumelle, AR

I bought the 19" version of this cymbal online through this website a couple of days ago. When I got it via mail today, I was pumped to go to my set and try it out. As soon as I started playing with the cymbal, I knew something wasn't right. It was completely overbearing everything else. Although it sounds good by itself and maybe with the other pst 5's, but it sure didn't with my Zildjian ZXT Titanium hi-hat and my ride cymbal. If you're looking for a REALLY projective sound (almost gongy if hit hard enough) then go for it, but if you're looking for a more subtle approach to your drum style, then I say pass.

Best lower quality Bronze cymbal!!!

By phoenix7289

from Buffalo Grove, IL US

It's true!!! There is NO crash out there, for this price, that will sound NEARLY as good as this beauty!!! Paiste has done it again and made a really high quality cymbal for a very low price!!! The bell on this, is the TRUE CUTTING BELL!!! It's bell is even better than the bell on my Sabian B8 Ride!!! A must have for beginners!!!
