Overview

The character of these Paiste Alpha Sound Edge Hi-Hat Cymbals is bright, warm, edgy, cutting, and glassy. The Paiste hi-hats have a fairly wide range, a complex mix, and responsive, soft, and giving feel. Its full, energetic, roaring open sound with the classic sound edge attributes make this a very popular hi-hat type for precise playing in many musical styles, mostly rock genres.

Paiste Alpha cymbals were first launched in 1992. Today, the Alpha brand is synonymous with dependability, and the cymbals are well known for their first-class sound and fair prices. The Alpha Series is now available in a Brilliant Finish, once again advancing these trusted qualities.

The brilliant look found on the Paiste Alpha Sound Edge hi-hats is accomplished by skilled craftsmen who hand polish the cymbals to a mirror perfect finish in the final production stage. Prior to that, top-notch hi-tech processes give these Alpha hi-hat cymbals their initial shape and strength. They are further enhanced by traditional hand-hammering.

Paiste Alpha cymbals have become very popular among professional artists, especially in rock and metal. Working with such drummers, Paiste developed new models to expand the arsenal available for players in these genres.

Paiste Alpha cymbals have developed a strong following in recent years and are today endorsed by numerous working drummers all over the world, such as Jeremy Spencer of Five Finger Death Punch, Jason Sutter with Chris Cornell, Dave Witte of Municipal Waste, Tommy Portimo of Sonata Arctica, and Steven Spence of Black Tide.

I tried these hi hats at guitar center not too long ago. I really liked them, they had a good sound when closed but not as good when they were open. I would like to purchase this soon and i would recommend this to anyone.
