A very good cymbal at a low price

By Frankel Joseph

Don't let the price sway you from this cymbal, it's not one of those cheap throw away cymbals. It's very bright and has a good sustain. It's stick definition is very well balanced and it's thick enough to ride on as well. It's bell has a very nice and cutting ping. It's a good replacement for your first cymbal that breaks and since it's made by Paiste they can take a beating. I've had mine for 3 months now but I actively play almost everyday and I gig 4 nights a week and this baby show's little sign of wear and tear. I'm a dedicated Paiste man now lol

Dont even look at another cymbal!

Amazing that is it. You might want to stay away from the 14 unless your putting em on the hats buit then just buy the hats! These are great for the price and really add some color to your set...they're dark with a bright undertone. Idk they're just great!

Great Value

This cymbal is fantastic for the price. I had just bought a drum set and I wanted some cheap cymbals to get up and running and then upgrade later. This won't be upgraded for awhile! Soudns great and gives you a nice full crash sound. Even if I do invest in another 18" crash down the road, I'm sure this will remain somewhere on the set! :-)

A great cymbal!

I bought this cymbal 3 years ago and it finally cracked just a week ago. It just has a tiny crack in the side of it but it's still playable! It's lasted me through about 3 or 4 different bands so I say buy it. Aren't cymbals supposed to break at some point? I think 3 years was a lot of use out of it.

Amazing for the Price

I wanted to add some range to my new custom classic drum set. I looked around for a good 14" cymbal and this one is the best. No doubt about it for the price. The ZBT and B8's weren't that good. Don't waste your money on a Custom or AAX cymbal, go with this one. Great product for a great price.

Bronze Intensity

These are probably some of the best cymbals for the price. They have a very nice ring that is versatile for any style. Im surprised they are as cheap as they are because they are very heavy duty and i think they'll last quite some time.

This crash is amazing! I bought the 16" crash, and I have to hand it to 'em, Paiste makes a really good crash. This is my first real, "name brand" cymbal, but I've tapped around in the local music stores and this was the best I found. And the 16" is barely $60!!! You can't find value like that ANYWHERE! It's nice and bright, has perfect sustain, and the finish is much better than the pictures they have here. And for some reason, mine had a few defects on the edge, but they don't affect the sound at all. it just looks a little weird.

Don't let the price fool you...

I bought this cymbal and played it, at first with my doubts. It was my first Paiste cymbal but it will not be the last! This cymbal is loud enough for live settings, warm but not washy or nasty sounding but it still fits in with metal (what I play) or jazz, or I'd even use it in any musical setting. It lasted me a year. With this cymbal, you get the bang for your buck. Great job Paiste.
