Comments about Paiste 2002 Series Thin Crash Cymbal:

So happy with the sound of this cymbal! I can use it as a left hand ride with brushes, so now I have a crash/ride available for both hands. Sweet bell like sounds when cymbals tapped with stick individually (used in jazz ballads). I have not tried it as a ride with sticks yet as I'm sure it has a bit too much wash for good ride definition -- it's a crash, after all. Decay is medium. I played Zildjian dry cymbals for years this is not that, not a fast crash, but instead decays reasonably. Perfect chick. Easy to control (I am an intermediate player, not flashy). Elegant, sophisticated sound. I play jazz and soft rock. Instant upgrade to how good a drummer I am ;)

Comments about Paiste 2002 Series Thin Crash Cymbal:

I've play drums for over 40 years it seems to me that the Zildjian brand cymbal is not what it use to be. I am very happy with my complete change to Paiste 20002. I still like the A sound edge hi hat better than the Paiste. I do have a 17" A custom that is a one of a kind find, if you know what I mean.
