Where do I start? These are amazing! I have been buying and selling Paiste hi hats for years now and have owned over 10 pairs...these take the cake! I purchased a pair of 15" traditional medium light hats and wow! The top cymbal is light...beautiful hammering and detail. The bottom is very heavy sounds like a ride and the hammering on this sucker is so cool! They are very dark and swooshy. Remind me of a vintage pair of Zildjian k's with a little more clear cymbal definition. They have a great sounds that is dark and defined while closed and open they are washy and sloshy! I love vintage sounding cymbals and these are by7 far my absoulte favorites. They sound best with other cymbals from the traditional series, twenty series and a few from the signature series. Great fro jazz, and singer song writer type of venues. They are not extremely loud like a pair of soundedges nor are they as bright. Hope this helps....buy them!
