The Paiste Signature Power Crash Cymbal is a heavy crash, producing the strongest crash sound and longest sustain. Overall higher in pitch, well suited for loud situations where projection is needed.
Have your band mates stand a safe distance from your kit when you unleash this thing - it really projects. The wash on my 18 allows me to use it as a crash/ride in a pinch. Great cymbal.

The paiste Signature line, is used by many of the top recording artists, and influential drummers of all styles and genres. Once you set one of the signature series in your drum kit, you can see why right away. Paiste signature cymbals are made out of a patented alloy that is extrememly musical and sonorous. You can't get this metal in any cymbal, not in this mixture, and the Bronze alloy playes so uniuqe. It has so many different musical striking points and each produces a birlliant beautiful uniqe shimmer. I have one 19 inch Power crash and it can be a soft high pitched bell sound, a great pingy ride sound, and nice musical crash, as well as an exploding High pitched monster with amazing sustain and projection. Count it, thats one cymbal with amazing uses in the studio and live. I use the entire paiste signature line, and now can't think of using anything any less brilliant and musical.

Great crash. I started drumming about 6 months ago, and started with the 14/16/20 paiste 201 set. My untrained ear quickly realized that my cymbals didn't sound the same as my favorite musicians. When I got better, I decided to fork out the money for the 19 inch. It was a great decision. The cymbal sounds great. If you want an example, listen to the white stripes, the 19" is the crash that meg white uses. It has some weight to it, so make sure you have a good stand. Great crash response, great bell sound, and can be used as a crash/ride if that's our style. I am very glad I bought this and I will probably be replacing my other cymbals with paiste signature line.
