I have tried crashes from every manufactorer in almost every conceivable acoustic environment. These cymbals possess the best characteristics of all of the others. These cymbals are explosive, the intial attack is great, and the subsequent overtones are just beautiful. They are not cheap, but the investment is well paid for such wonderful instruments.
I was in search of a new crash cymbal so I went to my local gc and tried every zildjian and paiste crash they had this one was the best by far I used to play all zildjian not anymore...this cymbal speaks volumes.I got mine when they were cheaper still worth every penny I have the 18inch model and its my main crash.
I went to my local guitar center with my band and I went into the drum room. I saw this one set surrounded by these Paiste cymbals, so I tried it out. I loved it. Of all the cymbals I hit this one sounded the best in my opinion. This is the best cymbal by the best cymbal company.
