I have the 16" version of this cymbal and if my house ever catches fire, this is the only thing I'm bringing out with me! It is the epitomy of a sharp crash cymbal with a very fast response and the perfect pitch. I play rock, my guitarists are louder than doomsday, and this one shines right through the ruckus. The bell is very good for effects-type playing and the edges are great for intro or accentuating cymbal rolls without getting too washy. The Sig Fast Crash is what everybody thinks of when they think of the word cymbal!
The Paiste signiture line is flawless. I especially like the fast crash series with their bright, crisp, clean attack with evenly balanced harmonic wash and no metalic sounding overtones. Great for any genre of music. If you are looking for a pro sound, this is the real deal!
I got this crash from my brother after he sold all of his drums and cymbal's to buy new one's. He offered this to me for free so how the heck could I have gone wrong. Once mounting the cymbal it was great and havent stoped using it.
For over 200 it could be a little high in price but Pasiste stay's behind there products and you know your getting your money's worth.
