Huge sound for a small cost.

This thing is awesome, whether you get either the 18 or 16,you wont be dissapointed.Paiste has proved once agian why there the best cymbal company on the face of the planet. The cymbal provides that explosive attack and quick response with that trashy dry sound that speaks for itself. This can take a beating and sounding the same through whatever you cab dish out. This china easily beats Zildjians low line of chinas as well as sabians.Dont be fooled by this price or the fact that its a low line cymbal, this is what low budget cymbals should sound like,semi- professional, which is all paiste ever provides to drummers on a budget-well worth your money-give it a try and you'll be coming back for more.

paiste pst5 china!!

I went to Guitar Center looking to buy a not so expensive china. I asked the guy working what he recommended and he handed me the paiste pst5. I'm in love with this cymbal. My band plays lots of alternative and semi-hardcore kinda stuff and it fits perfect for the style. It sounds great during those driving break downs. It's also my first Paiste cymbal. I will definitely be buying more in the future. Overall...great cymbal for a great price.

Awesome China

After cracking my 12" china I figured that I should move up to a nice 18". I was shocked to hear the power of this cymbal, and I am 100% satisfied with its quality, performance, and its sleek design. MUST BUY

good china

The pst5 is a good quality higher end cymbal. It is very loud and has a good trashy sound to it. I was hopeing when I bought this cymbal that ist would sound something like lars ulrichs oriental china. However it did not. But I do like the sound and every thing about it. It is the best cymbal I have had except formy zildjian a custom pack.

O.K.

Well when I first purchased my 18" china i was excited to play it. It sounded great, like a 5 star cymbal, but i gave it a 3.5 The edge of my china bent after maybe a month of using it. It didn't affect my playing, but it looks bad. I don't reccomend this to hard hitters.
