after i bought this, i started to have second thoughts, but after i played it i was pretty blown away from the explosive sound it has as a crash, and the mildly good ride sounds/qualities.I like it, its a good value.
My mate has this cymbal on his set which we use for band practices. Let me tell you, you don't need to buy a crash or a ride with this baby. Just buy this cymbal and call it a day. I played an entire song using only this cymbal. The ride sounds good, the bell sounds great, and it crashes pretty hard too. You can use this cymbal for any purpose, and for the cost, it can't be topped. I've got a 3 grand drum set at home, and even though some of my cymbals cost more than my mate's entire set EACH, I'm looking at this to be a new addition.
Paiste is one of the best cymbal companies I've heard of. They beat Sabian and Zildjian by a long shot. This crash/ride will give you quality for a good price, has a good ring to it. Definitely worth it even if it is cheap.
