  • Fantastic Crash

As reviewed by Scott on 7/26/2011

I bought this crash (18") @ my local GC and couldn't be happier. I have played everything from Zildjian A,A-custom,K,Sabian AA,HHX,Boshporus GOLD & ANTIQUE, PAISTE 2000,3000, & sigs....and I have to say this cymbal has the brightest wash of them all. Sticking is very buttery & the decay was medium. The bell on this Pie is awesome. When rolling with mallets, the build is bright & heavy without sounding brittle. It complimented my 2002 20" ride beautifully. I play A Zildjian Quick beat 14" hats(1970s) and thought about getting a B20 crash, but I'm glad I got this one, and plan on getting a 17 & 19 when funds allow. Bottom line....I love it & think you will to if you play Classic or Hard Rock.I've only had it for a few months now,but it's held up well with no signs of wear or (as a drummer of many years I don't like to say this word)....c-r-a-c-k-s.....Very happy with my purchase.
