Pacific supports your style of playing!

The Pacific Drums by DW P/D 800 Boom Cymbal Stand is a medium-weight stand designed for general-purpose playing situations. It combines strength, durability, and flexibility with drummer-designed details. Now features larger-diameter tubing and double-braced legs for extra support.

PLEASE NOTE: This stand is a hideaway boom stand, which means that the boom arm is hidden inside the tubing of the stand. To use as a boom, loosen both wing bolts and pull up. The boom arm will then come up out and you can then slide the boom at an angle and adjust.

Pacific Drums by DW P/D 800 Boom Cymbal Stand Features:

  • Drummer-designed
  • Medium weight for general-purpose playing
  • Double-braced legs with large rubber feet
  • Easily expandable hardware system

DW P/D 800 Boom Stand

I bought this boom stand with the Paiste PST 3 cymbal pack. When it arrived, I mounted the 18in china that came in the pack onto this boom stand. I have the boom arm raised pretty high, and it does not tip over at all; just wobbles a tiny bit. At the same height, it holds my 18in Zildjian crash cymbal perfectly, so this stand is obviously not too durable for far-reaching setups without a counterweight. For under $50, this boom stand is well worth the price for a budget musician. If you can afford more than $50 per boom stand, I'd recommend looking into the heavier stands like Pearl or Tama. I trust this boom stand and I plan on buying more. In all, I think this stand is perfect for 16in cymbals or thin 18in cymbals. I wouldn't recommend putting the heavier cymbals on this boom stand unless you're using a counterweight to balance out the boom arm. The DW P/D 800 Boom Stand is an above-average boom stand.

A very nice stand

I have my 20" ride on this stand, and I haven't moved it in about 6 months; neither did it. That's what has impressed me so much about this stand: it's the same as it was when I set it up. It's not loose or anything. It also has thick rubber grippers on the bottom of the double-braced legs to ensure that it does not move (I play on carpet and it doesn't slide). This is a very durable stand, and although I have my ride on it; it probably works for any cymbal, and I highly recommend it.

Boom cymbal stand

This Pacific Drums boom cymbal stand is great for any percussionist. The stand has double-braced legs so that it is extra strong. It has a nice silver finish so that it goes well with any cymbal. This stand will hold any cymbal and will look fantastic! It has a thin shape so that it doesn't take up very much space on a drum set. This is a cymbal stand that can be used by anybody. It also has pads on the bottom so that it won't slip on any surface. This is a great stand to have with many features!

Nice Stand!!

Dude, I bought this stand about 7 months ago and it locks pretty tight. I have a PST 5 crash on mine and I hit pretty hard and it hasn't moved and inch. I'd recommend this stand to a lot of people.

Awesome Boom Stand

These are some great boom stands, especially for the money. They do their job perfectly and a cymbal or the stand never fell. Their boom arms are a little bit short, but they work just fine for me. They aren't as lightweight as the 700 series, but I prefer these over the 700s. I really recommend these stands to any drummer.
