This FS Series 16" x 14" floor tom, offers superior looks and recording-quality sound in an extremely affordable package for just about any style of music.
It's a slightly above average floor tom. Its birch and projects. The head on it is good if you like loud floor toms with moderate overtones, it also can have a deep sound with a type of overtone stopper thing like those remo rings. I think a smaller floor tom is better for the birch material but if you have this kit then this expansion is worth it.
