This is their cheapest throne?!

Before writing this review I was not aware that this was PDP's cheapest throne available. I have had it for about a year and have really come to love it and rely on it. I'd put it up there in quality some thrones that are hundreds more. The throne I have has the same design as this one but sports the cooler "pdp" logo instead of the "pacific" one. The seat is well cushioned and durable and the double-braced legs are very sturdy. The only problem with this throne is with lowering and raising the height. It is not like the air lift thrones so it takes quite a while. However, this hasn't been a big problem for me since I have found my perfect playing height and do not need to adjust the height at all. So if you're looking for a cheap, reliable throne look no further and do not spend more cash than you need to. Save that cash for some more hardware or something.

Solid Throne

This is a pretty solid drum throne. It doesn't wobble or tip. It's also pretty comfortable. There's not much to say. If you want a solid drum throne that will last you for years and won't cost you hundreds buy this throne.

The best deal

If you're like me, you're looking for a drum throne that is reliable and inexpensive. I used to have a 1970 something throne that squeeked horribly at every movement, had practically no padding, and had narrow little metal legs that got easily bent when my large friend sat on it, so I always had to try and bend them back into shape and then not put all my weight on one side of it. Well, those days are all over now, because i just got this Pacific Drum throne. Mine even happens to have the cooler looking PDP logo instead of the Pacific Drums logo on the side. I know this will last for many many years as it is sturdy and well-built. The only time consuming part is changing the height of it since you have to unscrew it and take it apart, but once you get it where you need it to be, you shouldn't have to hassle with it. Sure, the Roc-n-Socs are more comfortable over time (i use those on our school drumsets) but this is all I need. It is by far the best bang for your buck. It's merely a fraction of the cost for any of the other quality drum thrones. If you just want a dependable throne that you won't have to worry about falling apart on you and that doesn't cost a ton, get this one.

DT 700 drum throne

It very well made and easely adjustible. I feels very solid as does all Pacific Drums hardware. The only downside is that the cushin is fairly hard but I easly got use to it and dont notice it any more.
