Straight-Up -FRESH-

This pedal is fresh. It is smooth, quick, and durable. It stays in place wherever you put it. It is also very flexible and can be put anywhere. The price is awesome and it is worth it.

This pedal makes me HAPPY!!!

I love this pedal and I'm so glad I got it. Since I've only been drumming for half a year I was planning on getting a cheaper pedal.(single chain, cheap baseplates) It's not the fastest but it's VERY CLOSE. If you have never had a double bass pedal before, GET THIS ONE!!!

Beginner's Luck for Budget Drummers

The Pacific's DP602C is no joke, it's considered a great pedal among first time users for their double kicking experience. However, everything you see there is basic, no "tricks" or "turns" with this one, but just a simple pedal with an extra "kick" on the side. Features: Pros - What I really like about this pedal is that it grips onto the bass drum like super glue, and it uses a drum-key to do so. To my opinion, its grip surpasses its first companion, the DW 5000 series. Chain reflex is great, unlike some DW pedals, the Pacific's chain doesn't fall off and hit your feet. Springs (just like all pedals) are adjustable to the right feedback when kicking, so that's a plus. There's also a nice Velcro hidden under the 2nd pedal (the slave pedal) that gives your pedals some grip on the carpet, and also, the adjustable nails that keeps the pedals in place are great as well. Cons - Well, like I said, it's a basic pedal. For most pedals today, especially for the expensive ones, their beaters are adjustable to any angle that a drummer pleases, however for the Pacific's DP, it doesn't have that feature. Quality: When it comes down to buying something with a budget, there's always the quality that turns every drummer's decision nuts. The Pacific DP is by far in fact, EXCELLENT with quality, however, still receives a 4.0 for minor things. Quality: Pros - To tell you this, I've been owning two pairs of Pacific's DP (because I don't have money to buy 2 pairs of much more expensive pedals), and they have served me pretty well in terms of quality, so for the Pro side of it, I've massacred these pedals, threw them everywhere like they were my sticks, dropped them in rain puddles (also played in the rain) just to check out its quality for water exposure (BECAUSE THEY ARE SO CHEAP!). And to tell you the truth, it's pretty outstanding, No dents, scratches, even chipped paint! So that's a huge plus for this pedal. Cons - For everything that's made of metal material, there's always the "rusty" side of the story. So, for all pedals out there, they tend to rust, same goes for the Pacific DP, and usually it's always the chains that are a bothersome description for every drummer. And also with the Pacific DP, it'll start losing its flexibility and squeek due to dryness of the bairings (however you spell that). So, the best solution to that is WD40 (a lubricant for metal materials, widely used in bicycles, cars, machines, etc.) (you can find it in a hardware store) and after using that, your pedals would sound brand spankin' new. Another con for quality are the beaters, they tend to wear out pretty quickly, so think ahead into what other beaters you can buy to replace your stock ones (and yes, all beaters have a universal side, so you can buy 3rd party beaters to replace your Pacific Beaters) Value: PRICE IS GREAT!!!!! that's all... I mean, come'on 100 bux!? That's the best deal I've ever heard!

DW dp602C

This is a great pedal. I actually had this pedal to use as a backup. I liked this pedal better than my other and decided to use this instead. It is smooth flowing and hard-hitting just what every drummer needs.
