Pacific popcorn 805
I was a lil suspicious when I first saw these and their price... but I read the reviews and thought that it was worth a shot... I went to sam ash today, and tried it out, and I fell in love... I bought it and tried it out as soon as I got home, and OMG is this an aswome drum... for the price, you cant beat it... my only recomendation is that u make sure that the head is dampened with whatever method you use. once dampened, the stock head is so bouncy and poppy that u will have as good a time as I was. The only real downsides are cosmetic. The paint will chip easily if knocked up against another stand... also, the glossy paint will get smeared like crazy from fingerprints, and if youre a little like me, that might annoy you, but those are minor... bottom line, these are well worth it.

Perfect Side Snare
This is the perfect side snare simply because it has a great sound and would really add diversity to any drum playing. Once I got this snare added to my drumkit, I started playing different patterns which sounded great. It also adds more power and sound to your regular snare when hitting both at the same time. I have had this snare for about a year now and still looks and sounds like new.

Perfect accent
At first I was weary of buying this snare because of some PDP horror stories I've heard (in short, problems with QC). However, I figured for 100$, I cant go wrong. The quality isnt "Pearl" level, but it still is decent. Some tiny nicks in the edge, but nothing re-cutting them cant fix.
As for the sound, It is purely amazing. IMO it is the perfect accent snare. I also use it when I play hip-hop or reggae as my main snare. Single-ply heads really make it sing.

Awesome Buy
I thought that this was just another cheap nockoff brand but once I actually played it, it was just like one of the pros. I recomend a dampener but other than that its an awesome buy for someone who doesn't want to spend alot of money on an awesome snare.
