NEW REVIEW - HELL YEAH!!!!!!!

I just bought the black on black 805 kit with the 24" kick and all I can say is DAMN!! it looks sinister and sounds damn amazing . I would recommend getting the Evans EMAD batter head for this , trust me , the kick sound gets even more like a punch in the chest. by far the best kit I have ever played.

killer set

hmmm after a few demos of a few kits, this was the one...it was a total spur of the moment buy but i got this kit complete with all DW9k and5k hardware and new Remo heads...The sound is insane...loud deep and it rings forever...the bass drum is like a sledgehammer in the chest with great separation in the toms as i tune them a third apart. This is a great setup for the money and the sound...you just have to hear it. I set it up with Remo coated ambassadors all around and a power stroke bass drum head. If you like the deep dark open sound then this is the setup. It also happened to match my PDP 10" popcorn snare i had sitting around...BUY THIS KIT!!! deep dark loud...IMHO it was the better choice to the all white 805 with smaller drums...

UHH MAY ZING

This set is GREAT! it gives you a deep dark tone to it great for a hardcore or metal band. and if you want an even darker tone put some Evens Hydrolics heads on it and youll be set for that full sound!
