Great Deal For The Money

By Jake Morris

from Mendham, NJ

This guitar is quite nice, especially for the money. I would compare this to a Gibson Les Paul Studio. The Gibson is a little cheaper, but the pickups in the PRS are far superior. Plus I've noticed that the overall quality of the workmanship is horrible on the Gibson. When I tried one out (the Gibson), the frets were not leveled, the finish was messy and uneven, just I felt like Gibson let me down. The only Gibson I would ever consider are the ones with binding on the necks, but they are way over priced. Look at PRS. They may not do binding on models under $1,00, but the necks fly and these PRS's are pure quality. Plus the guys over at Guitar Center I go to do really good set-ups and stuff like that.

Close But...

By DetroitBlues

from Detroit, Michigan

This is really close to be a great guitar. But I played it side by side with a similiar SE model. Didn't sound much different. Great guitar, but I'm not sure I'd pay twice as much for a guitar just because it says "Made in U.S.A"
