The PRS Special is a hum-single-hum guitar delivers the beauty and brightness of a maple top with a wide array of tonal possibilities due to the push/pull control and 5-way blade switch. It's loaded with covered sweet sounding vintage style-245 humbucking pickups. These pickups and their placement under the strings give the Special a voice that is classic, eminently recordable and gig ready. Throw the Lindy Fralin single-coil into the mix and you've got a treasure trove of pickup tones at your fingertips.
