Awesome weapon for your arsenal

By Rich Brown

from New York, NY

I'm giving this guitar just 4 instead of 5 stars because it's not a super lead guitar but it is an awesome rhythm guitar of a baritone variety that will inspire many new songs if you're a songwriter like me. Coupled with a EL84-powered tube amp like a Carr Artemus or VOX AC30 or AC15, this thing has sustain and a unique sound you won't believe. Sings for days and rocks...Oh man, these hot pickups will fry your amp! Love it. I am not the kind of person to buy a $700 guitar - it took a lot of convincing on the sales guy's part to get me even to try this. I typically buy custom shop guitars. But this guitar is the exception to the rule. And this is the first review I've ever been inspired to write, by the way

An Ideal Guitar

By MICHAEL IVERSON

from Sioux Falls, SD

I've had this guitar now for about six months and it has lived up to my expectations. Choosing a baritone over a 7 string seemed more ideal and it plays great. Tuners are fantastic as my guitar barely even falters from it's tuning. The silverburst body is gorgeous alongside the ebony fretboard, and isn't a very heavy guitar. I've become a full believer in baritone guitars and for anyone looking to pick one up, this PRS will not disappoint.

I Love It

By SCOTT MACDONALD

from Phoenix, AZ

I write songs with vocalists in mind that have a higher range than I do. This guitar has allowed me to sing in my lower key while recording these songs. As an added bonus, playing in the lower register it has a unique sound that has given me idea's for new material. If you need a baritone guitar and can't afford a $2000 Taylor acoustic this is a great option.

Great guitar

By William Centola

from Ct

I bought this guitar a few weeks ago and It's a work of art. I have the brown burst model and it's stunning. The sound is rich and full. The tuning comes at A and is insane and came go as low as your heart desires. As far as set up and features go it is simple and elegant. Great prs designed tuners that never have gotten out of tune, pickups are tightly wound and super active. It seems extremely durable and the strings that came with are exceptional. If you like low tuning, the 27.7 scale baritone is for you. transforming into playing a baritone is seemless. The only thing I would change is the addition of Inlays. 100% worth the money
