Overview

The original PRS Standard, introduced in 1987 evolved from Paul Smith’s pre-factory all-mahogany guitars. The S2 Standard 24 Satin takes that classic platform and reimagines it for the modern player. While the sleek satin finish and pickguard-mounted electronics will have you looking good, our HFS and Vintage Bass pickups will have you covered sonically. Comments about PRS S2 Standard 24 Satin Electric Guitar:

Recently purchased this guitar at my local guitar center and was thoroughly frustrated by it's inability to stay in tune. Granted it looks and feels great but I don't want something to look at, I want something I can play without having to stop and tune it every few minutes. I viewed a PRS video on the locking tuners and followed their recommendation but it still would not stay in tune.

I'll be taking it back to guitar center and try other guitars in this price range but after reading reviews others have left on guitars from different manufacturers I'm not sure I'll find one that will stay in tune regardless of the manufacturer. Is this a common problem with these "cheaper" guitars?
