Overview

The USA-made S2 Standard 24 Electric Guitar with Ivoroid Dot Inlays comes in a dealer-exclusive finish color and features PRS zebra bobbin humbuckers. Its mahogany body and set mahogany neck give it a distinctive resonance and powerful sustain. And when mahogany's rich, round, warm tone meets S2 uncovered humbuckers, there are plenty of clear highs and strong mids to be dialed in. With a solid build and electronics platform, the S2 Standard 24 is a true player's guitar.

The S2 Standard 24 is a new approach to a timeless classic. The original PRS Standard was introduced in 1987 and evolved from Paul Smith’s pre-factory all-mahogany guitars. The S2 Standard 24 takes that classic platform and reimagines it for the modern player with a sleek satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish and pickguard-mounted electronics that handles as well and sounds as good whether its plugged straight into your amp or running through your pedal board. All at an amazing price for a USA-made guitar. Includes gig bag.

Comments about PRS S2 Standard 24, Ivoroid Dots Inlays:

This is the BEST Guitar to come out in years. I prefer this over twice as expensive PRS guitars.
    1) The satin finish on the guitar and neck are amazing. I have a Musicman Albert Lee with an all Rosewood neck. The feel of this neck is extremely close. No sticky gloss to slow you down. The neck is right in the middle: not thin like an Ibanez, Not a boat like a Les Paul. Very comfortable. Great frets that you can reach for soloing.
    2) Using the coil tap on this to go from Humbucker to single coil sounds BEAUTIFUL. No weak single coil sounds. Finally someone got it right! It stays bold, crisp, and clear for single coil and smooth neck to crunchy bridge on the humbuckers. Its the swiss army knife of guitars. Jazz, blues, metal, this guitar has got your number.
    3) The weight is great! Its not so light you feel like its a cheap toneless piece of wood. You still get nice bassy bottom end, but without the weight of a Les Paul. Save your back.
Bottom line: Go play this and you will be in awe. Don't waste your money on a PRS SE or a Custom anymore. Save a few bucks and get this instead.

Comments about PRS S2 Standard 24, Ivoroid Dots Inlays:

As a long time fan of PRS guitars, I was extremely impressed by the s2 series, and this guitar has it all. The pickups sound magnificent, the finish is beautiful, and the overall feel of this guitar is just perfect. For me, it's a match made in heaven. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who's looking for an excellent PRS to add to their collection.

Comments about PRS S2 Standard 24, Ivoroid Dots Inlays:

This S2 Standard 24 Satin is a beautiful guitar! I purchased the open box (mint) condition. Was well packaged and arrived on time, with no damage. All papers, manual, tools, and tremolo handle were included. This guitar is what I was looking for. Perfect weight and it handles well. Frets are polished to perfection and with this being the satin finish version, perfect for quick slides up the neck. Tone is really good and the coil tapper allows for a wide array of sound. It has very good sustain as well. Came very well set up and just required a quick string tune. I'd recommend this guitar if you have the $.

    Awesome value!

Comments about PRS S2 Standard 24, Ivoroid Dots Inlays:

For the price, this is a fantastic guitar. It's
super versatile and the pickups sound good.
The neck profile is close to my '59 Les Paul.
The thin finish is nice, but very soft and easy
to dent. Great value for the money!
