The S2 Standard 22 is a bare-bones workhorse guitar for players looking for vintage tone and style with modern reliability and versatility. From high gain punk and metal to low, bassy blues, the S2 Standard 22 has it covered.
The S2 Standard 22 is a workhorse guitar for gigging musicians. With an all mahogany body and 22-fret set mahogany neck, this guitar is warm and sweet, making it toneful enough to stand on its own plugged straight into an amplifier and solid enough to serve as a great platform for even the most modern pedal board set up. The #7 pickups are clear and can cover the tonal spectrum from high gain punk and metal to low, bassy blues. The push/pull tone control allows for coil tapping for added versatility.
For the player who wants to cover a lot of ground with their music, the S2 Standard 22 is a perfect choice.

Comments about PRS S2 Standard 22 Dot Inlays Electric Guitar:
Nice guitar for the money - essentially same price as USA Strat but only gig bag no HSC.
Little disappointed that volume knob isn't pressed on straight.
As a Strat player ('91 deluxe w/lace sensors + '05 EJ), the volume control is right at your pinky, but the pickup selector switch is not close enough for me or what I'm used to.
The guitar played great right out of the box and required zero setup - although the strings were junk and I changed them within 2 days.
Really nice tone - the middle position is very "chimey" and not honky or nasally like most Les Pauls I've heard.
I could care less about the coil tapping feature.
I am a PT working musician - the band I'm in played approx 40 club / corporate / wedding gigs last year - we play everything from sorta jazz / Frank Sinatra / standards / classic rock / country / current pop.
Nice guitar that performs well and won't break the bank.
