I played this guitar at the guitar center in Santa Clara. I was impressed with the beauty of the wood and how light it was. I played it through an Egnator Rebel. I liked how it stayed in tune despite how hard I beat on the strings, and despite however many people probably put their hands on it before I did. I was able to get that smooth gainy tone with awesome sustain and it made me feel like I was Santana. I was also able to reach the high frets pretty easily and the neck was pretty comfortable in my hands. The playability was what was expected from a PRS. But one thing that I really liked about it was how beautiful it was. The flame maple was spectacular.
This is a great guitar. the gold hardware is gorgeous. its so light and plays amazing. the coil tap really comes in handy , you can mess around with the tone and sound without touching the amp.
this is a sweet guitar. it is very light wieght which is nice for long shows. the sound is classic and you can dial up a wide range of tones especially with the coil split switch. it will do pretty much anything but metal and really twangy country. its a very well built guitar and you can really tell when you play with out running it through an amp - it just sounds amazing. the only negative is the body shape - its just not right and its difficult to play sitting down and when standing the guitat is in a odd position.
