Our buyers”experienced players themselves”went to Paul's Maryland shop where they handpicked a group of knockout guitars with the most stunning tops, unusual appointments, and the lightest bodies.

This unique Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 Electric Guitar has a gorgeous carved flame maple grade 10 top in an unadulterated natural finish. The PRS Custom 24 has a special 25" scale length coupled with a comfortable shape gives this guitar exceptional playability. Abalone bird inlays adorn the 24-fret rosewood fingerboard and a natural maple body edge highlights the classic PRS double cutaway guitar body. All hardware is nickel including a PRS tremolo bridge, and Phase II locking mini tuners.

The Custom 24 electric guitar produces a broad spectrum of tones with a PRS HFS pickup in the bridge position and a PRS Vintage Bass pickup in the neck position. The PRS HFS is a powerful pickup with a balance of aggression, clear highs, strong mid-range, and strong bass. The PRS Vintage Bass pickup has a warm high-mid sound that's excellent for rock or jazz. The PRS Custom 24 Electric Guitar is exciting to behold and exhilarating to play!

5-Position Rotary Pickup Selector
This PRS feature allows great tonal versatility using two PRS humbucking pickups. The switch combines the coils of each pickup to produce all of the "PRS tones".

Rotary Positions (numbers on the control knob):

¢ Position 10: Treble pickup - powerful with plenty of definition - traditional humbucker tone
¢ Position 9: Outside coils in parallel - deep and clear sound
¢ Position 8: Series single-coils - warm version of in-between the treble and middle pickups.
¢ Position 7: Parallel single-coils - crisp version of in-between the treble and middle pickups
¢ Position 6: Bass pickup - warm with tons of character - traditional humbucker tone

Best Guitar I've ever played

By Byron

from Oceanside, CA

This is the most perfect guitar I've ever had the privilage to hold. I recently bought it and am blown away by it's capabilities. It's super light, and fairly small so that makes it's playability unmatched. It can produce every sound you'll ever need with those 5 pickups and each one of them is the defenition of quality. I would recommend this to anyone who understands that tone is everything in a guitar.

I have never played a better guitar! I am very pleased to say that when I walk into Guitar Center, that I am confident that there is not one guitar I would rather have than this! Highly recommended! (by the way, when I bought this guitar, I was it was the last one left in the country... when I got it.. I noticed the wood grain on the neck was very distinct... and ironically, the display picture for this guitar has the exact same pattern! so i started comparing wood grain... they are the EXACT same.. i believe i have the exact guitar used in these pictures! unless of course, there are two guitars with the exact wood grain! but really, which is more likely??)
