Rotary Positions (numbers on the control knob):
¢ Position 10: Treble pickup - powerful with plenty of definition - traditional humbucker tone
¢ Position 9: Outside coils in parallel - deep and clear sound
¢ Position 8: Series single-coils - warm version of in-between the treble and middle pickups.
¢ Position 7: Parallel single-coils - crisp version of in-between the treble and middle pickups
¢ Position 6: Bass pickup - warm with tons of character - traditional humbucker tone

I am 12 years old and I love my PRS custom 24. I have been playing since I was 5, and out of all of our 12 guitars, it is the one giutar that I always go back to playing. It has gone with me to different blues festivals, and it's the one that stands out. When I was younger, my dad backed over my my PRS in it's orignal case. The tire was actually on top of the case. When we took the guitar out, it was just out of tune. WOW! Thats one tough case. Still, my PRS is my number one guitar!
This guitar is by far the best guitar i have ever played. It is extremely versatile; it sounds great playing all types of music anywhere from rock to blues, jazz, or even metal. The pickups are amazing. It has an estremely fast action and consequently great response. Another thing I love about it is that it stays in tune even when playing hard. I have gotten nothing but good comments about it. It is my favorite electric guitar by far and I would recommend it to anyone.
I bought this guitar about a year ago, and it is the greatest guitar ever. I don't really even play my strat or my les paul anymore because of this. It is amazing. All the different types of tones that you can get out of it. It also plays and looks like a dream. I got mine with the artist series package, and it looks amazing. I highly recomend it. The only reason i didnt give it five stars in value is because it is rather expensive but if you have the money it is one of the best guitars you can buy.
The PRS Custom 24 is by far one of the best guitars you can own. Yes, they are expensive and no one knows and understands this better than PRS. That's why, I believe, that they put heart and soul into every guitar they build. I keep mine at standard tuning and have gigged with it. I never had to change guitars because it stays in tune so well. The whammy will rival the Floyd Rose as far as tuning stability goes. Let's not forget how it sounds. Two words, It Owns!!
