You will never want to play anything different. I spent two years looking for the perfect guitar. I looked at a ton of guitars from Gibson all the way over to Fender, I tried them all! With-in two minutes of having a PRS Custom 24 in my hands I knew it was the guitar for me. It was head and shoulders above the rest of the models I played. Nothing else even came close. I will never buy another guitar that doesn't have the Paul Reed Smith name on it. You will not be sorry you bought a wonderful instrument like this.. For all those people out there that look at the price tag on this guitar and say this is just way to much to spend on a guitar.. Trust me you will never miss the 3 grand when you have this baby. You can literally get any sound you want out of this bad boy. A bright clean sound provided by the coil tap to screaming solo tone, this guitar does it all. From stunning looks to amazing tone.. This guitar has it all.

You can't go wrong

This is my second custom 24, I purchased this one as an additional back-up with my Les Paul Studio, but I have now made my first 24 the back-up as I enjoy playing this one so much. (love the color and 25th anniversary add-on's.) Features: Pretty straight forward. Great tremelo system with the whammy bar, I have never had any isuues with the tremelo other than the coating on my first one has worn off substantially. It stays in tune as well after the abuse using the whammy bar. The pick-up's sound great, the one thing I can agree with that I read is that you will not get the gibson, or strat sound as you may know it to be, however it does a great job at producing simular sounds at different settings yet still has the PRS sound, which can't be denied. It shipped with 10 gauge strings, my first one shipped with 9's, however I use 10's so I was pleased with that. I did have my local guitar shop lower the action just a bit, but it was set up fine for most from the factory. I did get the 10 top as I did with the first one. I love the Blue sapphire smokburst, and have gotten several complements from people on it, as I have with my vintage yellow 10 top on the other. The binding, and head stock is also a nice add-on from my other PRS. The 25th anniversary case is also like a work of art, almost to nice to use! My guitar cases take a beating, and I hate having to use it! Note to PRS, please do not make a guitar case white! Quality & reliability: No complanints, I do break strings at times due to my rough style of playing, although I have yet to break a string on the new one in the 30+ hours or so I have used it. I also switched to the titatinum coated earnie ball strings and have yet to snap one on my other 24. I have never had any issues with the electronics on either of the guitars. No issues with the color fading. Everything is top notch as you would expect for the money. Look and feel: As you can tell from my thoughs above, I have no complaints, perfect weight, feel, and looks. If you can afford to drop down the cash, you will not be disappointed. I have played many types/brands of guitars in the past, yet when I think about adding to my collection, PRS is still at the top of my list.
