Still my best, after 5 years and 4 different bands

Got this exact model in 2003. Since that time, I've played in Nu-Metal, Hardcore, and metal bands. I have 5 guitars, and this one has performed the best in every style of music I've chosen to play. This guitar has a deep low end sound. Perfect for down tuning and pulling double duty in the absence of a bassist. It holds a tune pretty well if you string it correctly. Reccommended for Nu-Metal especially.

AMAZING!

I've had this guitar for over 3 years now and it has never let me down. I have it in platinum, which they apparently stopped making recently. This is your basic meat & potatoes guitar. No frills or strings attached. I can run it through any amp and still get amazing tone. My only complaint is the bridge pickup, which is a little weak for my taste. It gives sort of a muffled sound. I switched it out for a Gibson '57 and WOW!!! The neck has great playability, just keep it clean or the laquer will get sticky.

Great Guitar

This guitar is a great price, first of all. Other similarly priced guitars are nowhere near the quality of this one. The neck is really comfortable, and the stock pick-ups are pretty good. I love the shape of the headstock. The paint is really nice, I have mine in platinum, which they stopped making. The gig bag is really nice, very well padded. Overall, great price for a great guitar, and it is a PRS, you can’t go wrong!

Great guitar!

I got my Tremonti se back in 2005, When I first opened the guitar out of the packaging I was very impressed with the craftsmanship for such a low priced guitar. The price has nothing to do with the quality...this guitar is mean!! It looks great and it plays great as well. I switched out the stock pickups with Mark Tremonti pickups and the guitar has more life than ever. I also replaced the bridge with a tone pros avt II. and threw in prs locking tuners and a graphite nut. also I changed the pickup rings to Creme and the toggle cap, to make it more like Tremonti's. The guitar is great, the body is a little thin, I wasn't used to that at first. but it still has full tone. If they added a little more wood to the body than I would be very satisfied. I run it through my Mesa Triple Rec, and pedal board. The guitar has great shred capabilities, and easy chording. I've written alot of music on it, the Tremonti SE has served me very well, durable and classy. I even got the guitar signed by Alter Bridge, which makes it that much more special. PRS = Great Guitars! good for any style.

PRS Tremonti SE: Really good!

This is my second guitar and i've played alot of my friends, and I have to say that this one of my favorites. I love the thicker neck and its just an easy guitar to play. Great sound. Stays in tune fairly well, unless you do alot of bending, then it might slip out. Otherwise great guitar.
