The Sunburst 245 electric guitar features a custom grade curly maple top, wide/fat mahogany neck, mahogany back, and a 22-fret East Indian Rosewood fretboard adorned abalone bird inlays. The 245 uses the classic 24.5" scale length that many player will feel at home with and has a single cutaway body, stoptail bridge and vintage style tuners. PRS has incorporated the highly acclaimed 1957/2008 pickups into the 245 along with a 3-way toggle pickup selector, volume and tone control for each pickup. The 1957/2008 pickups allow players to achieve both vintage and modern sounds. This beauty is finished in a unique double sunburst and special nitro topcoat that really brings the gorgeous curly maple top to life.
