The SE Angelus Standard features a solid Sitka spruce top with mahogany for the back and sides. The neck is Mahogany with the "Wide" neck shape for which PRS is famous. Other select appointments include a rosewood fingerboard with bird inlays.

The SE Angelus shares the same proprietary bracing pattern and several distinct construction features as PRS's acclaimed Maryland-made acoustic line, as well as the company's trademark bird inlays and headstock design.
