PRS Custom 22 Electric Guitar (582767)
Availability:

The lusciously figured maple top makes a beautifully natural statement through the clear finish.

Our buyers—experienced players themselves—went to Paul's Maryland shop where they handpicked a group of knockout guitars with the most stunning tops, unusual appointments, and the lightest bodies.

This Paul Reed Smith Custom 22 Electric Guitar has a gorgeous carved flame maple grade 10 Top in an unadulterated natural finish. The Custom 22 has a special 25" scale length coupled with a comfortable wide fat neck profile for exceptional playability.

Abalone bird inlays adorn the guitar's 22-fret rosewood fingerboard and a natural maple body edge highlights the classic PRS double cutaway body. All hardware on this beautiful guitar is gold including a PRS stoptail bridge, Phase II locking mini tuners, and pickup faceplates.

The on-board medium output PRS Dragon II pickups boast alnico magnets with a unique tone that falls between vintage and modern pickup sounds. Controls include a 3-way toggle switch, volume, and a push/pull tone pot that selects single or dual-coil humbucking operation for an amazing variety of tones. PRS includes a hardshell case with the hand-picked Custom 22 Electric Guitar.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

First of all, may I remind all who are reading that the Custom 22 is no longer in production. Therefore, if you want this amazing guitar, you will need to buy it soon. I absolutely love this guitar. The Custom 24, of course, is PRS's most well known guitar, but the 22 is something I like more. The sound from these pickups is AMAZING. You can play anything with this guitar, any style you want. I highly recommend buying this gem of guitars.

  • Incredible piece that should be added to any player's list of needed guitars.

I have a limited run Custom 22 with stop tail bridge, matched headstock and Starla pickups, but similar to the stock. The feel and warmth of the guitar are amazing. The neck is very fast and smooth. The pickup, switch, pop single coil/hum bucker knob provides a very wide range of sound flexibility when combined with the tone knob. I love this guitar. I also play a '62 Fender Strat and this offers a new range of sounds. Also, as with most PRS guitars, this thing is beautiful. Mine is the tobacco sunburst and the paint is amazing. Get it out in the sun and it just dazzles! This is well worth the money, if you have it.
