Rat Rod snares rock

By Colton Bunce

from Logan Utah

This snare drum is the bet drum for rock, metal, and just about any kind of music. tune it hgh for a loud crack. or tune it low for a breathy sound.
i gave this snare this rating because it is seriously the most easy tunable drum with a lot of sound options.
The quality is great. ten ply maple is an amazing choice for this. and the butt end and throw off are smooth and easy to use.
the value i absolutly wort it. it is very cheep but the sound speaks for itself. low price for a snare drum? i think hell yes!

Nice sounding maple snare

By Cheesie

from Richmond, VA

I've played this snare drum at a store when I was checking out 6.5 x 14 snares. It sounded really good, no muffling and out-of-the-box heads and snares. Whoever tuned it did a good job, medium tightness. I don't know how it would sound tuned higher though. The snare strainer engages smoothly. The things that turned me off were the matte finish on the shell, mish-mosh of chrome lugs, black hoops and gloss red snare strainer and butt plate. I would have preferred this if it were all black hardware on a gloss white lacquer paint job.Apart from the appearance, this would be a step up from a low-end steel snare.

SImply amazing snare!! I bought this maple snare to go with my Dw set. PDP is just as good a quality as DW, but a fraction of the cost! It sounds amazing with a loud and cutting pop with the rim, and a crisp sound altogether. I would recommend this snare to anyone!
