Get what you pay for... Uugh!

Pros

  • Inexpensive

Cons

  • Can't Tighten To Adjust
  • Chain Too Long
  • Pot Metal Used
  • Set Screws Strip Out

Best Uses

  • Paper weight

Comments about PDP PDSP300 Single Bass Drum Pedal:

I have only had it for about a year. I have literally played 3 gigs with it (as I get booked on guitar & fiddle more often than drums!). The chain was not positioned right for my liking. So, I took out the set screws and repoisitioned the beater so I could raise the chain up. I hand tightened the set screws back and they stripped. It shredded it like it was cheap pot metal used. Also, the set screw that you tighten with a drum key wouldn't stay tightened and the pedal would "slip". I had to tighten it back down a couple times a gig. Finally, it is also stripped..... all tightened done by hand and I am not the Hulk!..... You get what you pay for with this pedal. Cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap, and cheaper! P.S. I would have given it 0 stars if that was an option!

Terrible, not worth it

By Joe The Metalhead

Pros

  • cheap

Cons

  • Can't Be Positioned Right

Best Uses

Comments about PDP PDSP300 Single Bass Drum Pedal:

This is the worst bass drum pedal I have ever played. I play metal, punk, and even some reggae and funk. This can not be put into any of those genres. The bass drum pedal is always only half an inch away from the bass drum, and has no rebound. And no matter how you try position it, it will always work its way back up to the bass drum. I say spend the extra 20 dollars and buy a DW 2000 or a cheap pearl bass pedal. Just Don't buy this one.
