Some good some bad....

By DeathReaper

from California

When you first get it dont be worried, it doesnt come with a manual so its hard to build. It took me less than an our, though, because I printed out a picture of it and followed what it looked like. If your not beggining to play, dont get it. If your older than 15, dont get it. Its for kids, and it sounds great if you are taking lessons.

Good, but

By Mr. Pure

This kit was decent for what it did, only if it only lasted for a while. The hi-hat cymbal cup broke after about month, the heads became badly dented after about two months, which later ripped about a week later. Also, the hi-hat cymbals sounded like absolute crap. The only thing I've truly liked about this set is how good the bass drum sounds. I had my friend play his 24x14 bass drum next to mine, and mine was almost lower and deeper than his. And after oiling the pedal, it was completely silent and responds great. Great for a younger kid who doesn't play hard who's just learning the drums. But these drums will always be special to me, as they were my gateway drug of starting the drums.

Review

By Scott-2cyB8

I bought these drums for my son for Christmas. I was pretty skeptical at first. I played drums myself for a number of years, and I wanted my son to learn on a good quality set that was just the right size for him. This set was a very pleasant surprise. It was very simple to put together. I would recommend to Pacific that they include an instruction manual though. If I hadn't had previous experience with drums, it could have been a bit confusing on attaching the drum heads, and getting them tuned. Overall, I am very pleased with this set, and my son absolutely loves them. The only down sides that I see with them are the bass pedal, and the high hat pedal. They are a little on the fragile side. Like I said, all and all, great product at a great value.

DON"T BUY

By FUNDEMENTAL INSTRUMENTAL

from nunya. . .nunya buisness

When i bought this drum set I was happy. When I played it, I wasn't. During the first week, one of the toms fell off, damaging it. Next, the h-hat was not parallel to the low-hat. The cymbals were horrible and the base drum did not give a very good sound. I would never buy this drum set again!
