Featuring the B.O.A. Bow Action Pedal System, a patented technology that's the result of years of intense research and development. The design embraces feel, quickness, and power, and defies traditional pedal theory.

So, what is B.O.A. technology? B.O.A. stands for Bow Oriented Action and there are no springs or hinges, because they're simply not needed. The footboard itself is made from a unique composite material called Flex-Tech, taking the place of both the spring and hinge all in one. The result is a pedal with fewer moving parts, more direct response, and completely silent action.

You might say the B.O.A. is flexible in more ways than one. In addition to its groundbreaking flexible footboard, the B.O.A. is fully adjustable. Using a combination of settings at the cam and Bow Action retaining plate, the B.O.A. can be tweaked in almost limitless ways. Whether you desire longer throw, additional torque, or varied rebound, all can be easily accomplished using a standard drum key or hex wrench. The B.O.A.'s toe clamp mechanism slides back and forth to compensate for varying bass drum hoop depths.

Combine all of these advances with a precise direct drive cam, a frictionless bearing-buffered axle, and HardCore beater, and it's certain B.O.A. technology will change the way you think about pedals.

best pedal out there

By Aldo

Comments about PDP Single Bow Action Bass Drum Pedal:

This pedal is awesome, it is FULLY adjustable(bass drum clamp, tension-really easy, foot plate-can be longer or shorter, beater, etc) and it really FEELS like no other pedal. At first when I started using it, it felt different but I was not completely satisfied as the specifications told that was an amazing pedal. I had been using it factory adjusted at that time and by seeing the places where I could adjust the pedal? I thought that I would not be a lot of a difference to what it felt already. Desperate of knowing that I just had paid a lot for the pedal?. I made adjustments to it and wow! A whole of a difference!!, it felt excellent. I used to play bare foot for heel-toe moves because my shoes could not fit in the space of ordinary pedals?. and now with this pedal I really can do it and better. An advice? the instructions of how to adjust the pedal are not good so you should explore. Good pedal and worth every buck!
