Please don't buy these hoping for a great deal on some hi hats and a crash, they're terrible as normal cymbals. But that being said, they actually can sound kinda cool if you turn one of the hi hats upside down and use it as a china/splash. They aren't particularly loud, but sound pretty interesting. But keep both because they crack pretty quickly.

Don't waste your money on these hunks of metal. You could find a better cymbal lying around your county junkyard probably. These pieces of trash came with my PDP EZ set I purchased last year in '06, and they wore out in less than a week. They sound like dropping a tin trashcan from a second story building. PDP should stick to just drums and veer away from building cymbals.. ever again. Again, save your money and buy something from Sabian, at least a B8 piece. Because B8's are WAY better than these hunks of garbage.

PDP EZ Cymbal Pack

By Elliotiscool

from San Gabriel, CA

Comments about PDP by DW EZ Cymbal Pack:

This is the worst pack of cymbals I have ever touched. They are extremely poor quality and do not even sound like cymbals. To be honest, the best thing you could do with this is grab the crash/ride and mount it upside down on the stand, and use it as a china. Although I recommend the $600 Sabian or Zildjian cymbals packs, if the price is too steep for you, at least go for their cheaper cymbal packs.

terrible

By thomas cochran

Comments about PDP by DW EZ Cymbal Pack:

these cymbals suck! they break waaaay easy. but what i did with them was put the hi-hats on top of each other, put them on a boom stand, and used them as a trashy sound cymbal and im not gonna lie, it sounds cool! but if your thinking of using these for anything else, think again!

Amazing!!!!!

By Mr. 911

Comments about PDP by DW EZ Cymbal Pack:

These cymbals are amazing. I have no idea what everyone is saying, because these are better than K Customs. You might think I'm lying, but boy, these are soo fantastic! They are as crisp as KFC! They'd be perfect for death metal since they don't care about the sound anyway! They're great for country cause they just are!

Scrap Metal

By William Bissonnette

Comments about PDP by DW EZ Cymbal Pack:

These cymbals sound horrible, as a beginner player even I can tell that they are garbage. I suggest that if your thinking of buying these you spend a little more and get something with some sound. Worst thing I have bought.

The best cymbals ever!!

By cymbal god

from uzbekistan

Comments about PDP by DW EZ Cymbal Pack:

These are by far the best cymbals i have ever played. these cymbals are immaculatly crafted. there are no better cymbals than these the crash/ride beats any on the market . I will never buy another cymbal because these cymbals are so poignant no other cymbals can even compare to the chaste tone of these cymbals.

Comments about PDP by DW EZ Cymbal Pack:

Bought these for my son not knowing anything about cymbols. I wish guitar center would pull these from their shelves. Dented within the first 5 minutes of playing them.

Okay

By Prince of Metal

from Cherry Hill, New Jersey

Comments about PDP by DW EZ Cymbal Pack:

Hi hats are really good, but the crash is weird. It has a shaky sound to it. Might as well keep the hi hats and get a really nice crash and ride from Sabian, altogether for around $180 which you have to admit, is a pretty good deal.
