Completley Satisified
Awesome kit This is a great drum kit. I just bought the grey metal one. I have been playing for a while and have tried several drum sets. I got this for my girlfriend and she loves it. I recommend some remo pinstripe black ebony heads. also don't expect a pedal or a snare stand. it doesn't come with that. also instead of muffling the toms buy some tone control rings. Once you tune this kit you'll be surprised at how great it sounds!! enjoy.

Best Ever....
Great Drum Kit! I've had this for a while and it still sounds great. I recommend that you get this. This kit is just as good as any other. If you're looking to spend more though... there is a set that looks identical to this one that is about double the price. (it's all poplar shells) The 10x8 tom on this is the best!Get this!!

Awesome Kit...!!
Well I bought this 3 years ago and it is still rocking!! Of course it is a starter kit but hey how you maintain it will show you how it is... I was not impressed earlier as well and even I thought of trading it for a DW or Pearl drum kit once I've become an Intermediate but now I just love it after doing some additions and using dampeners (Evans rings for all the toms and snare and mufflett & a sticker for the kick drum) and now it sounds awesome like a million dollar 5 piece kit!!! Yes, I didn't like the hi-hats too... If you are looking for crisp and chick sound then you will have to plan for another 150+ bucks for a decent hi-hat but believe it or not the crash cymbal is very good and comparable with $200+ cymbals... I have also added few things and these are my complete set I have as of today...
1. Toms, Bass Drum and Snare - PDP
2. Hi-Hat - Paiste 20 Series
3. Ride - 20" B8 Sabian
4. Crash - One comes with this, a Zildjian 18" and bought a stand and made use of those top and bottom hats comes with the kit as extra cymbals
5. Bought Roland SPD S for sampling and other electronic beats and few cymbals
But except for the SPDS rest of the stuff made me to spend few 100s for an awesome kit!!! Trust me whatever complete set you are going to buy you would want to customize, dampen, add cymbals to it.
It is my MILLION DOLLAR KIT, Best companion of mine and ultimately another member in my family :) bcoz I JUST LOVE IT!!!

Great Kit
I've had this kit for a while already... and it's still great. I highly reommend that you buy this. You can spend a lot of money on other drums but u'll still get the same sound from these drums. Just buy some better heads. there is a better version of this drum set that is all poplar shells look into it also if you're looking for a more expensive pdp iit's about 400. they look identical though. Buy this kit!

Great Kit, Great Price
I play drums in our church band. They have a real nice Ludwig kit there so I dont have to lug my drums around. I had a inexpensive set at home to practice on but it slowly but surely started falling apart. I went online and found these Z5 drums and am totally satisfied. After putting the drums together (they actually come that way but even a knucklehead like me put it together in less than 30 minutes) the drums sounded good. I did buy some new heads (Evans E2 clear heads) and after installing the heads and tuning the drums, the kit sounds better than the expensive Ludwig set at our church. I highly recommend these drums to anybody looking for a real nice kit at an affordable price.

Good beginner kit
I got this kit about a month ago and it's a good starter kit as long as you get a hi-hat and another cymbal (i.e. crash or ride). I got a crash and hi-hat cymbal from Meinl and they work great with this kit. You would need to get replacement drum heads if you want a good sound.

Love it
This drum kit is the first "real" drum set i've ever had.it's great for a beginner or intermediate player or something just to thrash around on,the only thing i dont like about this drumset is it takes forever to tune the drums and when you finally do they come out of tune easily, the snares are impossible to control and thats about it,slap on some new heads and youll be ready to go

cymbals worst ever
This drumset is a half decent without cymbals but the cymbals are trash. The set is ok for beginners but if you are good then don't get these.
