Pacific Drums and Percussion Limited Warranties
LXE/LX/MX/MXR/CX/SX Drums:
Drum shells and drum hardware are covered for three (3) years. Drum finishes are covered for one (1) year.
FXR/FX/FS/805/EZ Drums:
All FXR, FX, FS, 805 and EZ Series drums and their components are covered for one (1) year.
Pacific Hardware and Pedals:
All PDP Hardware and Pedals are covered for one (1) year.
This warranty protects the original retail purchaser, only. If a covered product or component fails due to a manufacturing or material defect, Pacific will repair or replace the product at no charge. To obtain Warranty service, return the product to your authorized Pacific Drums Dealer along with your original proof of purchase. In the case that the dealer is unable to correct a warranty defect, the dealer will then contact Pacific for further instructions and to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. No shipments will be accepted without an RA number. Any and all shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.
This Warranty does not apply to 1) drums purchased from a source other than an authorized Pacific Drums dealer, 2) any owner other than the original purchaser, 3) defects caused by neglect, moisture, extreme temperatures, handling, shipping or use under normal playing conditions, 4) alterations made after the product leaves the factory and 5) drumheads. Pacific Drums and Percussion shall not be liable for incidental, consequential or other damages that may arise as a result of or related to any defect or failure of this product. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Pacific Drums and Percussion's maximum liability pursuant to this warranty is limited to the monetary value of the product that is the subject of the warranty claim.

It's a slightly above average floor tom. Its birch and projects. The head on it is good if you like loud floor toms with moderate overtones, it also can have a deep sound with a type of overtone stopper thing like those remo rings. I think a smaller floor tom is better for the birch material but if you have this kit then this expansion is worth it.
This is my first PDP kit and I added this floor tom on as an extra to complete a 6-pc. set up. Being all Birch, I really like the sound/ tone quality. Overall, I am very happy with everything. I would have liked to have added an 18" floor tom, but it was not available? Love the finish (Natural to Charcoal Fade). As for my purchase/ ordering of this extra piece at Guitar Center, I had a problem and no one really followed up. I was disappointed in that! I used my GC credit card and they made it sound like the transaction went through..it would be shipped within 3-5 days. Then after a week, nothing!! I call, they tell me the card never went through?? So, a week already shot/ no drum! After the 2nd time or processing, it finally was taken care of. As for shipping/ packaging--the 2-day shipped to me because of the mistake (that's good). The packaging I thought was weak! A single layer cardboard box with very little, if any wiggle room and only wrapped in a plastic bag inside? There was one point of damage on the box where the floor tom leg mount was poking out of the box through a hole??? Fortunately, nothing was damaged, but that's not right. PDP should have protected the drum better...more padding or a little bit larger of box.
been beating on this thing for a few weeks now and i am very amazed on how it has changed my pdp fs set. love it love it! anyone that gets the pdp sets should grab the matching addons..
