The CB900 boom cymbal stand is wide-based with double-braced legs, oversized rubber wing screws, memory locks, and insulated tube clamps.
I just picked up all series 900 hardware with my FS kit. Truly, if you can fit it into your budget, you gotta go with the 900 series. They are very stable and do not shake. My large tom is mounted on a straight stand, and I am crashing on the boom. The memory locks are very helpful. Again, you have to go with the 900 series if are drumming long term. This awesome hardware will not let you down!

I love my PDP 900 boom stand! It is probably the sturdiest, heaviest, and biggest stand on my set.It will easily hold any thing from splashes to rides, and there are so many ways to adjust it. There are 2 tiers for maximum hight which are also double braced, it WILL NOT WOBBLE, and it turns into a straight stand.DW quality at a crazy-low price.Buy this stand!!!!

The title says it all. If nothing else this stand is sturdy. First of it's very heavy so you won't have to worry about any rattling. At first I thought that the arm would have trouble supporting my 20 in. ride cymbal. But as soon as I put it on there it was obvious that there was plenty of support. The stand is also very adjustable you set it as high or as low as you need it. Overall it is super heavy duty and looks professional. I would definately recommend buying this stand.

I got new cymbals for my birthday and I needed to get stands. I went to the local guitar center and bought two of them. When I got my cymbals on them, I loved them. My old stands used to shake when I hit the cymbals, but these one didn't. The best thing was the afordable price. These stands are the best!

I've used it now at 2 gigs. I'm using it with the boom arm basically in a retracted position, so it functions more as a straight upright stand, but gives you good flexibility with the boom. A fairly heavy stand, it seems very stable, supporting a 22" ride with ease. I think it's a good value!
