The Ovation Standard Elite 2778 AX is a 6-string acoustic-electric guitar with a deep contour body and an AA solid spruce top. The 2778 AX features scalloped X-bracing, a rosewood fretboard and bridge, chrome tuning machines, and an exotic hardwood rosette. The guitar's Ovation OCP-1K pickup delivers classic Ovation acoustic-electric tone.

This guitar will not disapoint you , the playing is so smooth and vidid. Good for any type of music. A bit pricy , but you get what you pay for. I've been playing guitar for 25 years, but never played anything like this. By , far the best guitar ive ever owned in my life. 10 out of 10.

I have been a guitar repairman for a couple of years now so I have had my share of experience with acoustics. I have worked on top dollar Martin's, Gibson's, you name it! I worked on an Ovation Elite and I was stunned! The guitar had some cosmetic wear to it, but I was amazed at the sound and style of this amazing guitar! If you are looking for a very tonal responsive guitar, then end your search! The Ovation catches every bass and mid tone. What's better than hearing this Ovation through it's unique sound holes?
