A stunning custom bass created for original Motley Crue bassist, Nikki Sixx.
In 2005, Motley Crue original members reunited for the "Red White and Crue" tour. For this tour Sixx used the Ovation Elite T model bass customized with iron cross neck inlays, a red flame paint job, and an Ovation Op Pro preamp customized to deliver Sixx's monster tone and brutish style. It is a 4-string acoustic-electric with a mid-depth cutaway body, solid spruce top, 34" scale length, ebony fretboard and bridge, side multi-soundholes, a high-output Ovation bass pickup and preamp system, and black tuners.
