The Ovation iDea is the first acoustic guitar of its kind to feature a built-in MP3 recorder and player. A digital recorder built into the Ovtion preamp makes it easy to record entire songs or fragments&mdash even vocals and commentary on the fly. The Ovation iDea is also a learning tool that offers audio lessons on chords, arpeggios, harmonics, and more, pre-installed in the guitar's onboard memory.
Files in the Ovation iDea guitar can be moved, renamed, deleted and rearranged right on your computer's desktop. Download and play mixes from recording software, rhythm tracks, and even songs you want to learn either through the guitar output or headphones. Several jam tracks are also pre-installed in the Ovation iDea Acoustic-Electric Guitar and additional tracks are available online.
