The Celebrity CC24S Acoustic-Electric Guitar features a cutaway body style, solid spruce top, center soundhole and rosewood fingerboard. The Celebrity A-shaped bracing has been perfected over the last few years through a computer modeling process. This technology was once only available in more expensive musical instruments.
With Celebrity series guitars, the Ovation sound — the sound that made the acoustic guitar a viable electric instrument — is now within everyone's reach. The CC24S is built by Ovation's Pacific-based subsidiary and benefits from the same USA-made Lyrachord body as its more upscale American brothers. This Ovation Celebrity guitar boasts almost two full octaves of fingerboard access.
The OP4BT preamp offers ±12dB control over the bass, midrange, and treble frequencies for great tonal flexibility. The CC24S guitar's on-board tuner is easy to use and helps you stay perfectly in-tune, even when using open or non-standard tunings.

I've had this guitar for 2 years and I play in trucker church most weeks. It has plenty of volume for the small settings. In fact, I've been told I need to sing louder. Plus when I plug it into my Roland KC-60 amp, I've got all the volume I need to play in a regular church. The sound is great, and the action is easy on my fingers. The only beef I have with it is the rounded back tends to slip around on me making it difficult to maintain a secure upright position. Seated playing is better than standing. However, that durable plastic back is more able to handle the drastic temperature changes that occur in the cab of my semi traveling from the far north to the deep south in one or two days. I have the natural toned quilted maple version, which looks totally awesome, yet understated so that the focus of the congregation is on the music, not the flamboyant guitar. If you want wild, they have a blue version.
I bought this guitar about a month ago with D'Addario light strings on it and it sounds great! This was my first acoustic guitar. I have been playing electrics for three years. You cannot beat the quality of this guitar for the price. When I started playing this guitar I was amazed at the volume coming from the super shallow bowl, and the tone is unbeatable.
Although, I did find a few flaws. With the strings being so close together, when you play chords sometimes they buzz against your fingernails. Also, I found that the battery runs out quickly even though I only plugged it into an amp about twice a week, I'm already on my second battery.
But, overall this is a wonderful guitar. If your planning on playing in front of an audience or just to sit around and improv. I would definitely recommend it.
This guitar is amazing! I have been playing accustic guitar for about 4 years now, and out of the 7 guitars i have had, this is my favorite. When i first picked it up and started to play it; i was amazed at what kind of shallow, smooth sound it put out for the price of this guitar. I have had the guitar for almost a year now, and i have not needed to change the battery once, and i plug it into my amp around 4 times a week. if you are someone who likes to play soft, alternitive music, I would recomend THIS guitar.
