The Best! -Jack Black

hey everybody, Jack Black here. This is the best acoustic electric out and for an amazing price. The harmonics on this guitar make you want to die. The cut away is perfect and so is the excellently sized fretboard. This is thee must guitar of the year

Ovation Celebrity CC24 Acoustic-Electric Guitar

This is a wonderful acoustic-electric. The cutaway is very convienient. It is also easy to play bar chords on this one. People with smaller hands should find this a good feature. When fitted with a nice set of strings, the sound is wonderful. Without an amp, it sometimes has a harp-like tone if you pick further away from the bridge (espeically half way, on the harmonic). When you are playing in a band with electric guitars, and you still want a very warm and clear acoustic sound, this is the guitar to use.

Very nice guitar

I have owned this guitar for about 1 year, and am very pleased with it. The neck profile is very quick and plays well, and the cutaway gives great fret access. The slim body profile is very convenient, and helps to keep your arm from getting tired quickly, but does slide some if your clothes are made of slippery material. The tuners work great, and I have been able to play for days at a time without getting out of tune much (unless I was doing a lot of bends). Overall a very nice guitar, especially for the low price. I also love the built-in tuner/preamp. It is very convenient, although if you leave the guitar plugged in for too long, the battery will die...hehe. However, check at time of purchase to see how high the action is; mine was high, which I don't mind since I like to play with a slide occasionally, but it does make it a bit difficult to play quickly at the higher frets. Other than that, I love it, and am happy that I bought it.

Nice Guitar

Very nice guitar for the price. This is my second Ovation, the first was a 1977 Matrix which was Ovations 1st try at an affordable but very playable beauty. The CC24 is even better. Great sound & well constructed. The finsih is nice but did have couple of flaws (nothing is perfect). The pickup & preamp provide excellent sound through my Roland Cube 30 amp. Overall, a great value that has reafirmed my confidence in Ovation's products.

Best All Around Guitar

When I saw this Ovation I couldn't believe my eyes. Ovations are a top quality maker and to find an acoustic for under $500 was insane to me. All I had to do was pick it up before I realized I couldn't walk away without this steal. This is an amazing guitar for pretty much anybody. Beginners or experts, don't pass this up!
