  If you don't tour, this case is fine. But I buy at least 3 to 5 new cases each year. Reason - the airlines can and will destroy a guitar case any chance they get. They pay for it, thank you. This case usually protects my guitar, but sometimes it doesn't. The plastic will fracture and will come apart at the metal binding. I wish that Ovation (or someone) would come up with a good case structured out of wood bracing like the pro touring models. If it cost twice as much, I would buy it to save my guitars! I have 2 Elite 12 string and 1 Adamus 6, all pre 1998, all full body, non cutaway. I want to keep them, not have them destroyed by using a cheap case.

• Nice Case

  I was going to make sure my guitar wasn't going to get beat up. This case fits my medium depth guitar perfectly and has a nice storage compartment for picks and my tuner. GC gave me a great price since I bought my guitar there also.

  I was concerned that Ovation might have stopped making cases for my classical acoustic/electric bought in the early '80s, but I gave them the model number and they told me which cases would fit. I haven't airline-tested it yet, but it fits the guitar perfectly and closes easily, which is more than I could ever say for the original Ovation case.
