This 6-string acoustic-electric features a deep contour body for a heavier and deeper sound. The Ovation guitar features a solid spruce top and a composite body, offering balance and plenty of projection to get the job done. Ovation engineers plotted the movement of the guitar tops using different bracing patterns. Through some detailed analysis, their scalloped X-bracing produces a rich, powerful sound that cuts through but is responsive at the same time. The cutaway shape on the upper bout, low- profile neck shape, 25-1/4" scale, and 1-11/16" nut width add comfort for complex and intricate shredding. The gloss maple neck on the Ovation guitar is strong, durable, and adds a considerable amount of clarity to the overall tone. The walnut bridge and ebony fretboard provide clear sustain, and the multi-sound hole design features amazing volume and exotic hardwood.
