The Ovation 1777 LX Legend Acoustic-Electric Guitar has outstanding action, playability and sound. In response to popular demand, Ovation has re-created the original warm-toned 1968 pickup and the OP-Pro preamp. Combined with new scalloped X-bracing on the AA-grade solid Sitka spruce top, this produces a rounder, more wide-open tone. A new 5-piece lightweight neck with dual-function truss rod is topped with a genuine ebony fretboard. Dual clamp heel and graphite neck stabilizers make the 1777 LX Legend the most stable Ovation ever. New Lyrachord back material formula is 33% lighter.

    i call this the workin mans guitar because if you are a regular player in church, or junk joint.. this guitar is dependable and can get the the job done..yes, i own the martin,the taylor, the gibson,and more...but, this is the guitar i use when i am playing at a job..and yes, i've owned other ovations before but, none as good as this one...

  • The Best Pro Acoustic Guitar Today

    Hi may name is Jordan Rivers,I am a world class guitar player and singer.My type of music is Gospel Rock,Blues,jazz styles.So the Ovation 1777LX is my guitar of choice.Plug this baby in and no acoustic guitar will sound better.It's perfectly blanced sound wise.It's also very light and very fast to play on the neck like an electric guitar with no fret buzzes.My guitar is now 2 years old almost and it sound even better today with a couple years of aging.This baby has been used on my album called,Standing On The Rock Of Jesus.I love this guitar,players better than Martin and Taylor,PERFECT !! Thanks Jordan Rivers

    The solid AA-grade spruce top on the Ovation 1777 LX Legend looks beautiful, I have to say the workmanship is superb. It sounded great unplug, sounded perfect plug in. You got to try it to believe it.
