Overview

This ultimate, high-end club DJ cartridge is the latest in Ortofon's legendary Nightclub Series, featuring an elliptical, diamond-tip stylus for superb sound quality. Boasting an output rating of 8mV, the Nightclub MkII delivers powerful, energetic sound and enhanced performance from integrated phono preamps such as the ones found in DJ mixers.

This top-of-the-line performer provides a well-balanced high-frequency response and strong low-end punch for unsurpassed sound reproduction. The shape of the Nightclub MkII’s elliptical stylus more closely resembles the angled grooves of vinyl, allowing it to rest more deeply in the groove and make contact with a larger surface area. The result is a more rich, detailed sound that is typically only achieved with audiophile cartridges.

With the stylus making more contact, its pressure is thereby dispersed over a greater area, which in turn reduces the wear on your precious vinyl collection. Another benefit is amazing tracking ability, so whether you’re backcueing or scratching, the Nightclub MkII sticks in the groove.

Comments about Ortofon Concorde Nightclub II Cartridge Twin Pack:

I was replacing some old ortofon's and old blue dj one and a pro s, (that original headshells were over 10 years old). figured it was time for an upgrade, Im not a fan of the stantons, the sures sound decent, but i don't like having that big headshell and huge cart. I like the refined and more accurate and easier to see ortofons. It was a toss up between these and the new ones made for serato scratch live ( S-120) I went with these because they seemed better in all around performance.
