I used to use the ortofon dj's and nightclubs.. These new qberts have double the output of any other cartridge, so your amp doesnt have to work as hard because it has twice the signal going to it. The sound quality is second to none. The bass sounds like it has been enhanced and the mids and highs are like no other.. Thanks qbert for a great stylus.. p.s. these needles have sound quality like no other, but then again these needles skip alot, i do not recommend this needle for scratch or battle dj's, they are too light for scratching, cuz turntablists abuse their needles more than any genre in djing...but if ur a mix dj their not bad needles
